Disabled paths – normally a minimum of 1.2m wide - need to be even and stable allowing smooth incident free trafficking of pedestrians and wheelchairs.  SUREGREEN PP40 porous pavers or GR Grass protection mesh ranges are solutions to solve the problem and at the same time offering a fully porous and permeable reinforce pavement surface.

For a gravel finish Suregreen would recommend the PP40 range. Experience has shown that the success of a SUREGREEN PP40 gravel disabled path / access route needs the correct construction profile incorporating a stable and a very well-draining sub-base and the correct gravel fill.

For a disabled pathway using existing grass structure, the SUREGREEN GR grass reinforcement range with be an idea solution.  The pathway would need to be even flat or nearly flat, well drained and with a strong well established grass.

It is recommended to contact the SUREGREEN Technical team for guidance regarding disabled access.
